Why Are You Making Things Tougher Than It Has To Be?

Posted by Adam

He was my second appointment for the day.

Someone that has started a website, looking to sell products and services.

He wanted to set up a PayPal account in order to collect the payment online, accept credit cards and make ordering easy.

He didn’t know how to do it, just knew that PayPal could. That was the most important thing today that he wanted to talk about.

I said, “Great! Easy!”

I walked him through the process of getting PayPal set up, how to create the Buy buttons and how to embed into his website.

Easy!

When you know what to do.

He asked, “That’s it?”

I said, “Yup.”

“I thought it was going to be a lot harder than that. I looked around online at it, but didn’t really know where to start,”  he responded.

The next thing we went over was getting video on to his website. I walked him through the process of going to youtube, grabbing the HTML code, customizing it a little bit and embedding into the HTML tab of his WordPress website.

Easy!

When you know what to do.

He asked, “That’s it?”

I said, “Yup.”

“I thought it was going to be a lot harder than that. I looked around online at it, but didn’t really know where to start,” again he responded.

I’m glad that I get to work with coaching clients like this. I’m glad that I can make things easy for them. He had already spent his valuable time trying to figure these things out. How much more time might he have spent, if he didn’t have someone that could make it easy?

Are you spending too much time in technology time traps and energy wasters? Are you focused on the right activities? The dollar producing activities?

If you are looking at something that seems hard and not sure where to start. Let’s talk.

I’ll help make it easy, because I’ll help you learn what to do
