Look at your marketing and the marketing from your brokerage and franchise.
Is it at the level it should be?
My observation is that we have been horrible in the real estate industry of creating marketing that conveys emotion and creates desire. I don’t know if its because we don’t know how or if we are lazy.
But our marketing has and continues to be less than stellar.
Examples of what we could strive for
I have seen great examples of marketing from businesses like Ikea, Home Depot, and Lowes. This home improvement stores are doing a better job of selling the exact thing we should be selling.
Lifestyle. A story. Emotions. Dreams.
Our industry TV ads are about why the brokerages agents are so awesome or why now is a good time to buy or how real estate helps the economy.
