When started to get involved in social media, I did it mainly as a way of enriching my real estate business. The more involved I got, the more I learned that social media has all sorts of valuable benefits for every industry and every group of people. The more I got involved with social media, I was convinced that community organizations right here in Fluvanna can take advantage of the benefits.

I’ve met all sorts of local people through social media that I might never have encountered otherwise. I’ve seen wonderful people work really hard to increase the membership and involvement in their community organizations, and I’ve thought to myself, “boy if these folks took advantage of social media, they could make an even bigger difference.”

I’ve decided its time for me to do something about that. It’s time that my community learned about the power of social media to bring people together and help them achieve their goals. I want to share the things I’ve learned with the community that matters most to me.

The focus of the presentation is going to be on how local community organizations can harness the power of social media to connect their members, and get their message out.

The information I’ll be sharing will be valuable from everyone from the Board of Superivsors to the Lake Monticello Swim Team, to local churches, and everyone in between. If you are part of any community organization, I would love it if you would attend and find out how social media has the power to transform your organization. This invitation is open to anyone, anywhere, so don’t be shy!
